Meet the Team: Stephanie Bond
Trainee Solicitor at Nantes Solicitors
We’re delighted to introduce Stephanie Bond, a dedicated Trainee Solicitor here at Nantes. Her passion for law, strong work ethic, and commitment to her professional growth have made her an integral part of the team since she joined in 2021.
An Inspiring Legal Journey
Stephanie began her legal studies at Bournemouth University, graduating with a 2:1 in Law while raising her young daughter. Her daughter was a frequent companion during study sessions, even joining Stephanie at PAL (Peer-Assisted Learning) classes, where Stephanie served as a PAL Leader, mentoring fellow students.
She joined Nantes as an Admin Assistant and quickly made her mark with her enthusiasm and determination. Her potential was quickly recognised, and she was awarded a Training Contract. Stephanie is now due to qualify in July 2025 following successful completion of her Legal Practice Course (LPC).
Hands-On Legal Experience
During her time at Nantes, Stephanie has gained broad experience across several departments, with a particular focus on civil litigation. She enjoys the challenge and complexity of this area, especially contentious probate and possession matters.
Stephanie recently celebrated a significant milestone in her legal training: winning her first civil litigation trial. It was a proud achievement that reflects her growing advocacy skills and confidence.
She has also gained experience in Family and Matrimonial matters as well as Private Client work, creating a strong foundation for her future as a qualified solicitor.
Learning in Practice
Balancing work and study has proven to be a winning combination for Stephanie. “It’s been extremely beneficial to apply what I’m studying directly into practice. The crossover has really enhanced my understanding,” she says.
Stephanie first connected with Nantes while working at a local estate agency during the COVID-19 pandemic. Impressed by the firm’s professionalism, she reached out for an opportunity and we’re very glad she did.
The firm’s flexibility and encouragement have been key to helping Stephanie manage the demands of both her LPC and her role. Her gratitude is clear, and her growth since joining has been exceptional.
Outside the Office
Stephanie is a talented artist, a keen history enthusiast, and a proud dog mum to two beloved pups. She enjoys visiting historical sites and can often be found exploring with her daughter, friends or colleagues.
Her creativity and curiosity outside work complement her legal practice, giving her a well-rounded and thoughtful approach to problem-solving.
Looking Ahead
Stephanie brings warmth, resilience, and a sharp legal mind to our team. As she approaches qualification, her dedication and skill are already making a real impact. We look forward to seeing her continue to thrive in the years to come.
