Cherise Luke-Bennett, a Director who specialises in family law, mediation and civil disputes and has over 20 years’ experiences says, “We have a great team at Nantes. Bethany has worked with me for the past three years and I am immensely proud of the work she does in dealing, in particular, with children disputes. She is a competent advocate for her clients dealing with various court hearings and complex paperwork. Bethany also deals with personal injury cases and general civil litigation. Emily joined us as a Trainee Solicitor part way through her training some 6 months ago and her first seat has been in the dispute resolution team. She is going to make an excellent Solicitor when she qualifies in December of this year and, although she is going to her next seat in residential property, it is anticipated that she will return to the team upon qualification and hopefully work in our Dorchester office as a Family and Civil Dispute Solicitor”. Carolyn Harmer, a Director who is based in the Bridport office, who also has over 20 years’ experience in family law said, “I have worked at Nantes for over 23 years and the dispute resolution team we currently have is the best team! We work closely together and are able to support our clients in all areas of dispute resolution across our four offices” Carolyn is also a collaborative family solicitor. Gill Fribbance, head of the team and a Director with a wealth of experience in employment law and Human Resources said “Woman power! What a great team we have in this department. Watching Bethany and Emily develop their skills and make such great progress in their careers is a joy to see”.
Cherise concluded, “We work hard at Nantes to provide sensible cost-effective solutions to disputes. This is particularly important in our family work where the most important consideration is working together to support families parent their children on separation. We have a great team here; we will probably mark the day with cake!”
