Nantes Solicitors are proud to have sponsored the 2023 WeyPort Business Awards, and in particular, the Young Entrepreneur category.

Following the event, which saw 13 local businesses winning awards, Nantes’ Practice Manager, Bethany Manning, had the opportunity to speak with Chloe Thomson; winner of the Young Entrepreneur award and owner of Coast2Country cleaning.

“Chloe launched her business at the age of 23 and, within a matter of months, registered Coast2Country as a limited company with a team of 4 people.  Chloe’s hard work and determination have seen her business grow and, within a year, Chloe had a team of 10 cleaners.

Today, aged 26, Chloe successfully runs Coast2Country cleaning which has 28 employees, offering flexible working and covering the entire Dorset area – as well as now expanding into Wiltshire.

Chloe explained that the growth in her business has not been without its challenges, however, it is clear that Chloe’s hard work and resilience are certainly paying off.

Chloe gave me a quote upon which she has built her business ethos; ‘be transparent, and don’t be afraid to be really honest’. This has certainly served Chloe well and I’m sure that it will continue to do so.

We at Nantes are very excited to see Chloe’s business continue to grow and wish her every success.  Congratulations, Chloe, and we look forward to joining you on that yacht one day!”

Cherise Luke-Bennett, Solicitor and Director of Nantes Solicitors, presented Chloe with her award at the Weyport Awards Ceremony and says “We at Nantes are extremely proud to be in a position to support local businesses.  Chloe’s journey is a fantastic representation of what hard work and ambition can achieve and she is the well-deserved winner of the Young Entrepreneur award. Congratulations, Chloe.”
